November 24th, 2006 Oliveira Simply Outstanding!
In his most explosive and impressive showing to date, Marcus Oliveira took his opponent, Bertis "Mac Daddy" McMillan out in only 25 seconds of the very first round.
The real fight began when some of the pre-fight hype included McMillan calling Oliveira out and promising a "beat down." It was a move that only seemed to motivate Oliveria more in his pre-fight preparation and spelled the beginning of the end for "Mac Daddy."
To make matters worse, Oliveira was irritated even more when McMillan met him at center ring, during the pre-fight instructions, with a smile. Regardless of whether that smile was meant to be a show of good sportsmanship or a blatant sign of disrespect, it was quickly erased when Oliveira met McMillan at the sound of the opening bell with an amazing display of power and speed. Oliveira started strong behind the jab and followed up with a decisive right hand to the body, followed up with a right hand to the head that deposited McMillan on the canvas. Although he beat the count, "Mac Daddy" McMillan looked like he was stepping in potholes and had no clue of where he was. The referee intelligently stopped the fight and raised Oliveira's career record to 6-0 with 6 KOs.

In his amateur boxing debut, heavyweight Konsta Myrick scored a lopsided unanimous decision win over David Garcia at the Kansas City Golden Gloves National Guard Armory show.
In spite of giving up more than 20lbs., Myrick capitalized on his height and reach advantage to dictate the entire fight. Although Garcia worked hard to get inside throughout the fight, Myrick used a powerful left jab, punctuated by picture-perfect right crosses, from the moment the opening bell sounded. That set the tempo for the entire bout. It was an impressive first outing for the underground boxing company's star heavyweight prospect and his solid performance created a good first impression of what the future holds for this young, determined fighter.
September 16th, 2006 Another Short Night of Boxing for Oliveira!
In spite of a last minute change of opponent for Marcus Oliveira, this rapidly improving light heavyweight contender, didn't seem to be fazed as he pounded out another first round victory to maintain his unblemished record and stay on course in what is a promising start to his professional boxing career.
Oliveira was originally scheduled to face off with Mike Word, but after Word unexpectedly pulled out, a tough and rugged Reggie Brown stepped in, eager to take the fight to Oliveira. Although Brown landed a straight right hand early on, Oliveira walked through it and proved too much for Brown. Midway through the first round, Oliveira unleashed a powerful left jab that sent the challenger flying against the ropes. He immediately followed that up with a five-punch combination of powerful head and body shots, ending in a crushing left hook that deposited Brown in a heap at Oliveira's feet. Without a count, the ref quickly waved off the fight to tend to the fallen and obviously hurt fighter. A picture perfect display of power and explosiveness put an end to the fight at 1:21 of the first round and runs Oliveria's record to 4-0 with 4 KOs.
Marcus Oliveira proved once again why he is a light heavyweight who is on the move and who will not be denied in his quest for the light heavyweight championship of the world.

August 18th, 2006 Marcus Marches On!
It was all about power punching Friday night for undefeated light heavyweight, Marcus Oliveira when he disposed of opponent Larry Lane at 2:54 seconds of the second round to win another exciting fight on his journey to world title contention.
Marcus met fellow light-heavyweight Larry Lane in the center of the ring and then began to punch him from corner post to corner post for the remaining five minutes and fifty-four seconds of the fight. Marcus had Lane down just 57 seconds into the first round with a short, straight right hand that sent a strong message to his opponent. Continuing to apply an intense amount of pressure Marcus had Lane hurt on several occasions throughout the remainder of the round, but this tough opponent was able to hang on to the bell to end the first round.
Although he tried to again to mount an early attack, Lane went down again early in the second round with a grazing left hook. In spite of Lane's attempts to hold on and survive, Marcus continued to apply consistent pressure, landing strong hooks to the body. As the round progressed, Marcus began throwing more combinations and put together a series of punches that sent Lane down and nearly through the ropes. Pounding out a final left hook and double right hand combination Marcus ended up standing over his fallen foe who, at this point, was only being held up by the ropes. Although he was able to get back to his feet, Lane had obviously had enough and the referee waved it off at 2:54 of the second round.
With this impressive win Marcus extended his undefeated record to 3-0 with 3 KOs and he stopped a fighter who, in two previous outings, had never been knocked out before. The fight proved to be still another demonstration of Marcus' tremendous skill and provided a glimpse into the ability of tomorrow's light heavyweight champion of the world.
